Resident/Fellow Scholarships

The 16th annual Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP), taking place August 5–8, 2026, fills a crucial need as a leading medical conference solely dedicated to the treatment and prevention of chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI) and amputations related to CLTI.  

AMP looks forward to granting scholarships to fellows enrolled in accredited vascular surgery, cardiology/interventional cardiology, and interventional radiology fellowship and residency programs. This scholarship helps to defray the cost of travel and registration fees for participation in the 2026 AMP Symposium. 

Scholarships include:

  • Complimentary registration* for the 2026 AMP Symposium, including access to all conference events Wednesday–Saturday, including the workshops  
  • Coverage of up to 4 hotel room nights at conference hotel. Note: Geographical location will be taken into account when offering hotel room nights.
  • On-demand access to all general sessions, post conference. Note: Live cases and industry-supported sessions will not be available on demand.

*Valid on new registrations only.

 

Eligibility

  • Fellow applicants must be enrolled in an accredited vascular surgery, cardiology / interventional cardiology, or interventional radiology fellowship or residency program at the time of the meeting (August 2026). 
  • Applicants must complete the application, including agreement to the requirements and the following document uploads:
    • A signed letter, on letterhead, from your program director confirming your status as a current resident or fellow in August 2026
    • A completed W-9 form (US applicants) or a completed wire transfer form (international applicants) to our payment processing system (more information to be provided post acceptance)

Terms of Acceptance

Attend Sessions in Full

Acceptance of this scholarship requires the awardee to attend all conference sessions in full, including additional sessions designated specifically for residents and fellows. Scholarship events begin on Tuesday, August 4, and end Saturday, August 8, at 1 PM. Please plan your schedule accordingly.  

Session Sign-in

To receive your scholarship payment, you will be required to sign in at designated sessions. The list of sessions requiring sign-in will be posted on this webpage as soon as it is available. Please check back as needed for updates. Failure to attend required sessions in full at the conference will cause your scholarship payment to be at risk of forfeit.

Registration

Scholarship recipients are required to register to attend the meeting using the steps and information provided in the acceptance email within two weeks of receiving the acceptance email. Failure to register to attend the meeting within this timeframe will cause your scholarship to be forfeited.

Payment Information

Scholarship recipients are required to submit a completed W-9 form and the forms required for direct deposit (US applicants) or a completed wire transfer form to our payment processing system (international applicants) by Friday, June 12, 2026.  More information regarding this to be provided post acceptance.

Travel Information

Scholarship recipients are also required to submit a copy of a final travel itinerary, including flight information, to to Liz Minor at lminor@hmpglobal.com by Friday, June 12, 2026, or the scholarship will be at risk of forfeit. 

Post-Conference Survey

Scholarship recipients are required to complete a post-conference survey that will be sent via email after the conference. This survey needs to be completed by Friday, August 21, 2026 (within 2 weeks of the conference). Failure to complete this survey will cause your scholarship payment to be at risk of forfeit. 

Schedule of Events

Scholarship recipients are required to attend sessions IN FULL. The list of required sessions will continue to be updated. Please check back for updates.

Important Dates and Information

Applications will continue to be accepted until all spots are filled. A waitlist will also be started. Please see below for approximate notification timelines.

  • Week of February 16, 2026: Applicants will be notified via email of acceptance on a rolling basis. Waitlisted applicants will be notified as well. 
  • Within 2 Weeks of Email Acceptance: Registration Deadline—If you have been accepted for a scholarship and have not registered for the conference within two weeks of receiving your acceptance email, your scholarship will be forfeited and offered to someone on the waitlist.
  • June 12, 2026: Payment Information Deadline—submit your completed W-9 form and direct deposit information (US applicants) or your completed wire transfer form (international applicants) by this date. 
  • June 19, 2026: Registration Cancellation Deadline—cancellation requests must be received no later than June 19, 2026. Please email your cancellation request to to Liz Minor at lminor@hmpglobal.com
  • June 12, 2026: Travel Information Deadline—submit your travel itinerary to to Liz Minor at lminor@hmpglobal.com by this date. 
  • August 5-8, 2026: Attend AMP in Boston, MA. Attend sessions in full and sign in at designated sessions at the conference. 
  • August 21, 2026: Deadline to complete the post-conference survey.

Cancellations

Scholarships are limited. If you are unable to attend, please notify HMP Global immediately so we can extend your complimentary registration to another person on the waitlist. Please email Liz Minor at lminor@hmpglobal.com. Cancellations are requested by June 19, 2026. 

No-Shows

Failure to send a cancellation request or attend the meeting in full will result in ineligibility for future scholarship opportunities at HMP Global conferences, which include but are not limited to the International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET), Clinical Symposium on Interventional Oncology (CIO), Western Atrial Fibrillation Symposium (Western AFib), and the Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP).

Support

The travel stipend for residents and fellows may be subsidized by educational grants from Industry. More information to follow on supporting organizations.
