University Partnerships in Action

Intermediate Skill Level: This content is geared towards senior living professionals with 8-10 years of industry experience.



Initially, the moderator will provide some brief context for the value of partnerships for both providers and higher education organizations advanced by the Vision Centre. The key messages will be delivered by the panelists who will provide an overview of their own unique approach for partnering with respective Colleges and Universities around leadership talent development. Each of them will also discuss the benefits, challenges and outcomes of these relationships. Collectively, they will also comment on what they see as next steps for the broader field of senior living and aging services leadership to continue to change and enhance the landscape of academic programs across the country. Lastly, the intent is to leave ample time for discussion with attendees about how this proactive talent development strategy can work for each of them and their organizations.
