In the assisted living industry, employees are the heart of resident care — yet their own experiences often go under-examined. This session will offer an insightful look into the emotional, physical, and professional realities faced by team members in assisted living communities.
Drawing on real-world experiences, organizational assessments, and front-line feedback, this session will explore what it truly feels like to work in assisted living today — the challenges, the calling, the culture, and the critical areas for support and retention.
This session will place emphasis on one element of the CRP model—effective communication with residents and families in the aftermath of harm events—an area with important implications for executive leadership, trust, and organizational culture.
