AJ Cipperly, Vice President of Memory Care at The Arbor Company and Andy Tubman, Chief Clinical officer at SingFit and Board Certified Music Therapist, will take the audience on a learning journey of engagement through music and technology for individuals and groups in a senior care setting. Through experiential musical experiences, video, and a presentation of research, data, and case studies from The Arbor Company, the audience will learn the impact of a variety of musical solutions being utilized in Senior Care that are powered by technology. This presentation will cover how, when effectively implementing music as medicine, engagement increases which uniquely impacts clinical outcomes and QOL for the individual, their families, and their surrounding caring system. The case studies will reveal how the combination of technology and the power of music, enables staff and families caring for those with cognitive decline and Dementia, to increase engagement, joy, rapport, and clinical outcomes at a lower cost.
