Congress has kicked off 2024 with a focus on assisted living that has not been experienced for more than a decade. The Senate Special Committee on Aging recently held a hearing focused on assisted living quality of care and related topics. The federal General Accounting Office also recently announced an investigation into areas of assisted living. Because of this federal attention, it is important that everyone, including providers, associates, residents and families, educate federal lawmakers about how assisted living in delivers high quality care and provides enriching experiences to over 1 million residents every single day. Learn about how you can contribute to Argentum’s federal advocacy priorities by educating lawmakers about the differences between assisted living and other forms of long term and senior care. Our presenters will also review federal public policy initiatives including the Argentum-led Senior Act of 2024 and Care Across Generations Act.
