Wound Care Business Navigator: Wound Care Centers and Teams: How to Address the Growing Need with Shrinking Support

Patients in need of optimal wound care is growing, which has been shown to reduce amputations and hospital/ER visits & readmissions, while increasing rates of wound healing. However, there are obstacles to proving the value to hospitals & administrations in its cost effectiveness, resulting in closure or lack of interest in wound care centers. We aim to have a factually driven conversation in a multi-disciplinary format with vital stakeholders as to the value, profitability, and critical need for wound care centers and how to address this dilemma.
