RAPID FIRE: Jungle Wound Care: Getting Creative with Wound Treatments

For some of our patients access to costly dressings and topical medications for ulcer care is not possible. In other cases, there may be a delay in obtaining prescribed dressings and medications, thus a temporary substitute may be necessary. This session focuses on relatively inexpensive, easily accessible alternatives available to them for home care. This includes items such as dilute vinegar, and other anti-infective agents, other natural anti-inflammatory, and prohealing agents.
