Innovation Theater Lunch (non-CME): Serving Our Patients Better: Applying an Algorithmic Approach to Lower Extremity Ulcers

In this session, panelists will review data exposing a gap in the need for care and where there is the opportunity to work cross-functionally to do better. New Big Data Medicare publications on lower extremity ulcers will be reviewed to reflect on the current state and the learnings to be applied to treatment algorithms that will provide the best patient outcomes while minimizing healthcare resources. Finally, challenging case examples will be reviewed to highlight where modifications to practice protocols adapting to the new normal have shown positive results.
