Learning objectives:
•Examine the genetic mutations and underlying pathophysiology of Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa (JEB) and Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (DEB) and recognize their clinical manifestations
•Explain the standard management practices for EB including wound care, routine extracutaneous monitoring, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team to address the diverse needs of the patient
•Evaluate current FDA-approved treatments for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) as well as emerging therapies, understanding their mechanisms of action
