Instructions for Receiving CME/CE/ CECH Credit

Click “Claim CE” or “Claim Credit” in the conference app bottom navigation bar. If you are not completing the online evaluation through the conference app, you will need to log into hmpeducation.com/event/24-sawcs-101 with the email address used to register for the conference and your badge number. Badge numbers can be found on your conference badge or in your conference registration confirmation email.

Steps

  1. Complete the evaluations for the sessions that you participated in during the meeting dates of May 14–18, 2024 or on demand. Please select the appropriate evaluation based on whether you participated live/live broadcast or on demand. Credit can be claimed for live credit for only one session in each timeslot.
  2. Complete the Overall Conference Evaluation to unlock your certificate. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 60 days of the conference will receive documentation of credit.
  3. Select the type of credit certificate that you need from the dropdown list (Physician, Nurse, PA, etc.).
  4. Download/print your certificate of credit. Your certificate may not load if you are accessing it from a smartphone or if your browser settings do not allow a new tab/window to open.
  5. If you require multiple certificates, repeat steps 3 and 4. Keep your certificate(s) of credit for your records. You will not receive certificates by mail. Once a certificate has been claimed, physicians and pharmacists may elect for credits to be submitted on their behalf to their boards via additional fields that will appear within the Claim Certificate page. Credits must be submitted through this process to be reported to the American Board of Surgery and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.

NOTE: You may claim credit for all sessions until July 18, 2024.

Podiatry Attendance Validation

To comply with the Counsel on Podiatric Medical Education (CPME) requirements, Podiatrists must validate attendance at CME sessions once every 4 hours. To verify attendance, please scan the QR code found at the Help Desk and throughout the conference. It is recommended to check in twice a day, once upon arrival and once after lunch. To claim CPME credit for the conference:

  1. Complete attendance validations daily as stated above
  2. Complete online evaluations via the same process as all attendees claiming credit at the meeting. See the Instructions for Receiving CME/CE/CECH CREDIT section for more information.

Introducing CME Passport

With CME Passport, it’s easier than ever to submit CMEs so you can focus more on patients — not paperwork.
