Cross-Titration and Deprescribing in Psychiatric Practice: A Case-Based Approach

Medication transitions are common in psychiatric care but can present significant challenges related to symptom destabilization, withdrawal effects, and patient concerns. This interactive workshop focuses on evidence-based approaches to cross-titration, medication tapering, and deprescribing in complex clinical situations. Through case-based discussion, faculty will examine common scenarios involving antidepressants, antipsychotics, benzodiazepines, and other psychotropic medications while providing practical tools to support safe and effective medication management.
