Big Bad Rashes: SJS/TEN, DRESS, and High-Stakes Dermatologic Emergencies

Some rashes require immediate recognition and decisive action. This session focuses on high-stakes dermatologic emergencies, including SJS/TEN, DRESS, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis, erythroderma, and other severe cutaneous adverse reactions. The session will emphasize early warning signs, medication history, triage, biopsy and lab workup, inpatient coordination, and treatment decisions that can change outcomes.
