Clinical Performance Roundtable: The Nursing Dividend: From Clinical Signals to Investment Decisions

Track Sponsored By: Sage

Nursing teams play a critical role in preventing avoidable hospitalizations, supporting resident stability, and improving outcomes, but the business value of that work is not always clearly measured or communicated. As value-based care arrangements and investor expectations evolve, senior living operators have an opportunity to better demonstrate how clinical performance contributes to financial and organizational strength.

Drawing on NIC/NORC research and operator perspectives, this Roundtable will explore how nursing observations, clinical decision-making, and resident outcomes can inform capital allocation, investment priorities, payer strategies, and risk management. Through facilitated peer discussion, participants will examine how organizations can capture meaningful clinical data, demonstrate nursing's contribution to business performance, and build a stronger case for investments that benefit residents and the bottom line.
