Carol McKinley

Dr. Carol McKinley has spent much of her education and career devoted to the care of older adults. She is committed to elders having quality to their lives, being treated and respected as the adults they are, and receiving the care and services they need to live to the fullest they can. To that end she has served in an array of health and long term care leadership/administration roles. Carol is motivated by the challenging health care environment with overall goals of navigating it, being creative with resources available, and finding ways in which elder care continues to be honored. She has spoken on the national and international level to advance the elder care agenda. She is active in strategic initiatives including person-directed programming, dementia care initiatives, post-acute strategy, technology advancements, renovating for relevance, and partnership development. She is creative and innovative yet practical and concrete. Carol's work passion is balanced by her love of her family, enjoying the outdoors, reading, and musical expression.
