MELISSA HOLLAND
Melissa is an Oklahoma native, who grew up in Southwestern Oklahoma and has over 20 years of experience in Senior Housing. Prior she worked in privatized student housing, accounting, and serving individuals with disabilities.

Throughout her career Melissa has advocated to state and federal legislators. She educates the public about Senior Living through television, radio, and speaking engagements. She is experienced in running day-to-day operations. Her accomplishments include outstanding facility management; creative marketing skills; achieving company growth goals; and building strong relationships.

For 12 years, Melissa has served and is the current President & Executive Director of the Oklahoma Senior Living Association (OKSLA). During this time, she has been actively involved with OKSLA’s national affiliate Argentum, serving on the Executive Committee as the Assistant Secretary of the State Partner’s Group.

As a national speaker, Melissa has presented at NARA, Argentum’s Senior Living Executive Conference and Oklahoma universities.

She has also been active on numerous civic and charitable boards that support Oklahoma seniors. Currently, she serves on the Alzheimer-Dementia Disclosure Act Advisory Council; a member of the OSDH Healthy Brain Initiative Council – Workforce Development Committee, OSDH Health Aging & Falls Prevention Coalition, and Oklahoma Care Coordination Alliance.

Melissa has had the privilege of training more than 600 students who have pursued careers as administrators in the assisted living industry.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband Jim, and 2 grown children. Melissa also loves playing fetch with her two fur babies Louis & Poppy.
