Michele Hughes

Michele Hughes is the Managing Director of Senior Housing at Columbia Pacific Advisors, where she leads strategy, performance, and innovation across a national portfolio. Known for her forward-thinking leadership and operational expertise, Michele is a respected voice in the senior living industry, consistently driving initiatives that elevate quality of care while strengthening financial performance. Her work has had a meaningful impact on residents, families, and care teams alike.

Michele joined Columbia Pacific Advisors in 2017 as an Asset Manager and quickly advanced, taking on broader leadership responsibilities in overseeing the performance of senior housing assets across the country. Prior to joining Columbia Pacific, she held Vice President of Operation roles at Brookdale Senior Living and Emeritus Senior Living.

Beyond her executive leadership, Michele has been deeply engaged in industry advocacy and governance. She served two terms on the board of the National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) as a Member at Large and contributed to both the Finance & Policy Committee and the Risk Management Workgroup. At the state level, she held multiple leadership roles with the New Jersey Assisted Living Association, including two terms each as Vice Chair and Chair.
