Ajarvis is a board certified psychiatric pharmacist that graduated with his Doctor of Pharmacy from Florida A&M University. After completion of two years of post graduate residency at Howard University Hospital and Memorial Regional Hospital he practiced as an advanced practice psychiatric pharmacist at Memorial Regional Hospital in their outpatient Long Acting Therapy Clinic managing patients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders and difficult to treat depression offering interventional pscyhiatric services. Ajarvis' current work supports psychiatry research and development as a Medical Science Liaison with AbbVie and aims to enhance/optimize CNS preclinical and clinical drug development to further merge evidenced-based medicine with novel mechanisms and meaningful clinical outcomes. In his spare time, Ajarvis enjoys live music, any outdoor adventures and is an avid Jacksonville Jaguars fan.
