Desmond Watt

Desmond Watt, PA-C, is a Virtual Medical Director at One Medical, a national primary care provider owned by Amazon. He is a leader of remote teams of PAs and NPs providing 24/7 50 state virtual care services to both commercial populations and at-risk senior health patients. Desmond has practiced in virtual primary care for over 10 years, and has spent a significant portion of that time in virtual care system design and workflow optimization. He is a co-founder and past president of PAs in Virtual Medicine and Telemedicine, as well as a past Director-at-Large for the AAPA Board of Directions. He was a direct contributor to the development of the PA interstate compact model legislation, and regularly advocates for the PA role in virtual care as a critical part of our healthcare future.
