Faculty will examine whether systemic therapy alone is sufficient for control of oligo-remnant lung cancer, or if the addition of local ablation improves progression-free survival and long-term outcomes. The discussion will review patient selection, timing of intervention, and available local treatment modalities. Review evidence supporting continued systemic treatment for cancer control, including outcomes with targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and combination regimens. The speaker will address durability of response and scenarios in which local interventions may be deferred. Participants will gain insight into optimizing systemic therapy strategies for patients with limited residual metastatic disease.
