Bob Bertilino

Bob Bertolino, Ph.D., is Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling at Maryville University and Sr. Clinical Advisor at Youth In Need, Inc. in Missouri. He has taught over 600 workshops throughout the United States and 11 countries and authored or co-authored 15 books including Effective Counseling and Psychotherapy: An Evidence-Based Approach, The Therapist’s Notebook on Positive Psychology: Activities, Exercises, and Handouts, and the forthcoming, The Therapist’s Notebook for Supervision and Training: Activities and Exercises to Improve Effectiveness. Bob is both a licensed marital and family therapist and professional counselor in the state of Missouri, a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Richard Landis, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist, international trainer and author. He is the Executive Editor for the Milton H. Erickson Foundation Newsletter, Clinical Director for the Ericksonian Integrative Medicine Institute of Orange and the Director of Training for the Southern California Society for Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. He is board certified in traumatology, and holds diplomate status in the areas of integrated medicine, behavioral medicine, and psychopharmacology. Dr. Landis is the past Senior Program Reviewer and Audit Chairman for Committee Education for the California Psychological Association Accrediting Agency and past Continuing Education Committee Chairperson for Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists. He was also the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Milton H. Erickson Foundation.

Scott D. Miller, Ph.D., is the Director of the International Center for Clinical Excellence -- an international consortium of clinicians, researchers, and educators dedicated to promoting excellence in behavioral health services. Dr. Miller is the author of scores of research articles and 15 books, including the most recent Better Results: Using Deliberate Practice to Improve Therapeutic Effectiveness (APA, 2020) and The Field Guide to Better Results: Evidence-based Exercises to Improve Therapeutic Effectiveness (APA, 2023). He conducts workshops and training in the United States and abroad, helping hundreds of agencies and organizations, both public and private, to achieve superior results. His engaging presentation style, and command of the research literature, consistently inspires practitioners, administrators, and policy makers to make effective changes in service delivery.
