Arredondo Advisory Group

Dr. Patricia Arredondo is President of the Arredondo Advisory Group specializing in diversity management strategy and executive coaching primarily in with women and men of color. A licensed psychologist, she is former president of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago. Patricia is author of more than 100 publications and widely recognized for her contributions as a servant leader. Her scholarship addresses Latinx and immigrant mental health, women’s leadership and multicultural competencies for psychological research, training, and practice. Her more recent books are Latinx Immigrants (2018) and Women and the Challenge of STEM Professions: Thriving in a Chilly Climate (2021). Patricia regularly presents to State psychological associations and other organizations on culture-centered psychotherapy and the complexity of counseling with multi-generational Latinx families in the U.S. Patricia is a Fellow of APA divisions 17, 35, and 45, and of the American Counseling Association. She is also the first Latina president of ACA. Patricia is a Faculty Fellow with Fielding Graduate University a serves on its Marie Fielder Center for Social Justice. Other board service is with Gay Sons & Mothers. Latina Researchers, and the National Latinx Psychological Association; she is the founding president. Of Mexican-American heritage and from Lorain, Ohio, she also speaks and writes about the cultural borderlands women of color have to navigate. Her doctora degree in Counseling Psychology is from Boston University. Patricia resides in Phoenix and Mexico City.
