Sean McGowan, MBA

Sean has over 15 years of experience in the Life Sciences & Pharmaceutical industry. He is the Senior Vice President of Amneal Pharmaceutical’s Biosciences business unit. In this role Sean is responsible for all aspects of commercialization for a growing portfolio of biosimilar and enhanced formulation oncology products. 

Prior to joining Amneal, Sean spent 5 years at AmerisourceBergen (now Cencora) in Strategic Global Sourcing where he launched and led the sourcing program and platform for the biosimilar product category. During that time Sean partnered with biosimilar manufacturers to commercialize the first generation of biosimilar products launched in the U.S. 

Sean has held various commercial and leadership roles at AstraZeneca, Accolade and Endo Pharmaceuticals. Sean holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and an M.B.A. from the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
