Joseph Gemmete

Dr Gemmete is a former professor in the interventional/vascular and neurointerventional radiology sections in the Department of Radiology, Michigan Medicine.  He is currently a consultant for Consulting Radiology of Michigan. His research interests include different techniques in interventional radiology and ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. He is a fellow of the ACR, SIR, CIRSE, and AHA; a prior associate editor of JVIR and the American Journal of Neuroradiology; and an associate editor for Radiology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology, Operative Neurosurgery. He is actively involved in SIR serving on several committees and has been an integral in helping run the stroke course at SIR for nine years.  He has published over 294 peer-review articles and 185 abstracts at scientific meetings. He is also the author of 21 book chapters.
