James Milburn

James Milburn, MD, MMM, FACR, FSNIS, specializes in neuroradiology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Milburn is Vice Chair of the Ochsner Department of Radiology Department and Professor of Radiology at the University of Queensland. He serves as Program Director for the radiology residency and also Director of Neurointerventional Services at Ochsner. Dr. Milburn attended University of Missouri-Kansas City Medical School followed by diagnostic radiology residency at Ochsner. He performed fellowship training in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University. Dr. Milburn currenly holds multiple national board positions which include the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, American Society of Neuroradiology, and the Journal of Neurointerventional Surgery.  His research interests are in stroke, aneurysm treatment, resident education, and health policy.
