Steven C. Lin, MD, MPH, is a gastroenterologist at Washington Permanente Medical Group, where he specializes in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr. Lin earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University, followed by a Master of Public Health in Health Care Policy and Management from Boston University School of Public Health, and his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UC San Diego, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, where he received advanced training in inflammatory bowel disease and biostatistics.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lin serves as a specialty pharmacy reviewer, contributing his expertise to medication access and utilization decisions for patients with gastrointestinal conditions within his health care network. He is a professional member of the American Gastroenterological Association, the American College of Gastroenterology, and the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
