Dr. Baldeep S. Pabla earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Duke University. He then graduated from medical school at the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago before returning to Vanderbilt for his Gastroenterology and IBD training. He was recruited to stay at Vanderbilt and joined the faculty in 2020. His interests include medical education and the use of point of care intestinal ultrasound for the monitoring of disease activity in patients with IBD.
