Sumita Singh is a global business executive with P&L and commercial leadership experience in B2B and B2C organizations across media, information, data and technology sectors. Currently Sumita is the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Health at U.S. News & World Report, responsible for advancing the company’s mission of delivering actionable and trusted decision support tools and information to help consumers make important healthcare decisions.

Previously, Sumita was Managing Director of Elsevier’s global Reference Solutions business where she led the growth of Elsevier’s digital products in research intensive markets such as Life Sciences and Academia. Sumita has held similar leadership roles at Thomson Reuters, WebMD Health and New York Media.

Sumita has a Bachelor’s Degree in English literature from the University of Delhi, a Master’s in Mass Communications from The University of Florida and a Master’s of Business in Marketing from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She lives in New Jersey with her two daughters and spouse.
