The Official Meeting of Argentum
Dan Loon is the Senior Vice President of Program and People Development at Legend Senior Living, where he leads initiatives that strengthen training, career growth, and company culture. Since joining Legend in 2014, Dan has focused on equipping leaders and teams to succeed while advancing programs that make a lasting impact.
Dan chose a career in healthcare because it touches every aspect of life—ourselves, our loved ones, our children—and offers the opportunity to pour into people while working toward a shared mission: creating a supportive environment for our elders.
In addition to his role at Legend, Dan serves on the Advisory Board for the College of Health Professionals at Wichita State University. He earned his Master’s in Education Administration and Supervision from Wichita State in 1997, after completing his undergraduate degree in Education at MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1992.
Before joining Legend, Dan spent nearly 20 years with EdisonLearning, Inc., holding leadership roles ranging from Lead Teacher and Principal to Vice President of Logistics. He played a key part in the company’s growth from just four locations in 1995 to more than 100 across 23 states and three continents. Along the way, he delivered professional development to more than 3,000 educators annually and helped bring multiple new programs and products to life.
Dan began his career as an educator in Wichita Public Schools (USD #259), building the foundation for a lifelong commitment to developing people and shaping organizations.
