As the Vice President of Human Resoulrces for Legend Senior Living, LLC., Alix Orza is dedicated to ensuring Human Resources is a strategic partner for the organization while maintaining excellent customer service for all levels of the company. Alix brings over 15 years of leadership and HR experience in both publicly traded and private companies as well as domestic and international employee populations. She began her career as a Salesfloor Manager with Target Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, which laid the foundation for her career. She has honed her corporate HR skills and prides herself on the importance of understanding the business and daily operations as key to being a valuable HR partner and leader. Alix constantly strives to build and sharpen her business knowledge alongside her HR knowledge as she feels both are critical for an HR leader. She believes being a problem solver, a creative and strategic thinker, and trusted sounding board within an organization are the best ways HR can empower and support a business.
Alix earned her MBA from the Meinders School of Business at Oklahoma City University and her bachelor’s degree from Rhodes College. Additionally, she holds her SPHR and SHRM-CP. A native Oklahoman, Alix is a life-long art lover who enjoys sketching. In her free time, she’s an avid traveler and has visited over thirty countries across six of the seven continents.
