Brad Bushby: Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Technology, Schlegel Villages
With over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, Brad Bushby has become a respected leader in every industry he's ventured into. Brad's journey began in the vibrant beer industry, introducing him to the fundamentals of dynamic sales strategies and customer engagement. His career trajectory took a significant turn as he delved into the pharmaceutical sector, working for a large company before embracing the challenge of a startup environment. Here, Brad spearheaded the launch of a groundbreaking product across North America, securing its presence in some of the largest retailers worldwide.
Ten years ago, Brad transitioned into the Senior Housing industry, starting with MediSystem Pharmacy, a name many attendees will recognize as a key supplier to the sector. Today, Brad is the Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Technology at Schlegel Villages, where his leadership guides the sales, marketing, and technological advancements across 18 Villages, encompassing over 5000 LTC and retirement suites. His role extends beyond Schlegel Villages as he serves as a Vice Chair on the Ontario Retirement Communities Association board, influencing the industry's direction and standards.
Brad is excited to showcase a very special project to the attendees of this years SLEC conference. The Green Bench is a symbol to combat Agism and share Elderwisdom.
