Rebecca Adelman is an attorney, entrepreneur, and national leader in healthcare, senior living, and risk management. She founded Adelman Firm in 2001 after establishing her practice in litigation and insurance defense. The firm is an all-women practice and a certified Women’s Business Enterprise at both the national and state levels. For nearly forty years, Rebecca has focused her work on healthcare litigation, insurance defense, employment law, and business disputes.
She represents insurance carriers and long-term care providers nationwide and advises organizations on claims management, enterprise risk, and dispute resolution. Adelman Firm developed the PRISM claims model to support proactive risk identification and mitigation. Rebecca provides consulting and educational programming for healthcare and senior living organizations on risk and compliance matters. She serves as an arbitrator for the American Health Lawyers Association and as a Neutral Mediator and Arbitrator for National Arbitration and Mediation. She is also an Associate Faculty member of Ariadne Labs and the Serious Illness Care Program.
In 2021, Rebecca founded Guide Path, an expectations and risk management certification program for senior living communities. In 2025, Guide Path received the Aspect Award for New Brand Launch in Skilled Nursing, and Senior Living Empower Hour, a webinar series Rebecca hosts, received an Aspect Award for Audio and Podcast.
Rebecca is a national speaker and has received multiple professional honors, including recognition by CIO Views and the Tennessee Supreme Court Pro Bono Service Award. She is an NBA Certified Player Agent and is fluent in French.
