Jay Morgan

Mr. Morgan has served as the Chief Operating Officer since the company’s inception in January 2018. In this role he is responsible for the overall operations of the company, leads the asset management function, provides direction over systems and people, and leads the investor initiatives and corporate governance. Mr. Morgan is a founding member of ReNew and a member of its governing boards.

Mr. Morgan has over 20 years of experience in health care real estate development, acquisition and capital markets. Prior to his work with ReNew, Mr. Morgan was Chief Financial Officer of Miller Diversified, a family-owned real estate services firm.

Before joining Miller Diversified, Mr. Morgan served Welltower in various capacities from 2006 to 2017, most recently as a Senior Vice President, and over the course of his tenure at Welltower, in a variety of capacities including investments, capital markets/finance and operations. Additionally, Mr. Morgan established and ultimately led the 17 million square foot medical office building platform.

Prior to this, Mr. Morgan served as an Associate and Vice President in the real estate investment banking group at Lehman Brothers.
Mr. Morgan holds a BBA from the University of Colorado and a MBA from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
