Kim Butrum
MS, RN, GNP-bc

Kim Butrum joined Silverado as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services in 2014, bringing over30 years of extensive clinical experience as a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner serving those with neurodegenerative disorders in a variety of settings. With a strong background in Alzheimer's and dementia research, Kim is committed to harnessing the clinical expertise at Silverado to ensure that results from the latest studies are put into practice. Kim also works with the nursing teams to analyze and develop best practices based on Silverado's evidence-based, industry leading clinical outcomes, which have been collected over the past 25 years.
Kim holds a BSN from Loma Linda University and an MSN from Boston University. She has worked in a variety of settings including long term care, rehab, home health/hospice and academic research. She served as leader of the multidisciplinary team at UC San Diego’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center clinical arm, and at the Memory Center at the University of Texas, Austin Neurology program.
