Dr Axene is an ER physician, EMS medical director, and CMO in the Dallas area. His extensive experience working with some of the world's largest healthcare organizations gives Dr Axene a unique perspective on the healthcare industry. He has also enjoyed his experience as an NFL/XFL/UFL physician standing on the sidelines with multiple teams, including his hometown Dallas Cowboys. In 2018, Dr. Axene won Physician of the Year honors for the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex among all medical specialties. In 2019/2020, he was awarded Physician of the Year nationally for Envision Physician Services, the largest physician group in the United States. Dr Axene lives in Texas with his wife (Deborah), two children (Ben and Emily), and their two dogs.
