Home Medication Heartache: Diabetes and Weight Management Edition

While our management of diabetes in the field is fairly limited, the medications patients may be taking at home for diabetes and weight management has exploded recently. These drugs can lead to complications requiring EMS intervention. By focusing on the mechanism of action of these medications, participants in this session will be better prepared to recognize and manage symptoms associated with side effects or untoward effects of these popular medications.
