FAST Session: Don’t Let the Beat Drop! Pearls & Pitfalls in Prehospital Pacing

Transcutaneous pacing (TCP) is a temporizing, yet potentially life-saving, intervention for patients with severe symptomatic bradycardia—however, out-of-hospital clinicians might not be as effective as we think with this critical therapy. This presentation will review recent evidence on TCP performed by EMS clinicians, along with recommendations and best-practice suggestions to ensure effective therapy is delivered when your patients depend on it.
