Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is hailed as a revolutionary advancement in bedside diagnosis, rivaling the stethoscope's impact two centuries ago. While it has found a place in various medical specialties, its integration into EMS remains limited, with just 4.1% of U.S. EMS systems utilizing POCUS. In this workshop, you will bridge the gap between more traditional assessment tools and the untapped potential of POCUS. We recognize the critical nature of timely and accurate diagnosis, especially in out-of-hospital scenarios, where every moment is precious. POCUS emerges as a game-changer, mitigating inaccuracies in assessment and elevating patient assessment and care with another tool to help clinicians make better decisions. The results?
