Applications will be reviewed by the SAWC Spring | WHS leadership team. Selected recipients will be notified by email on a rolling basis, with all notifications issued no later than March 20, 2026.

Who Should Apply?

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled as a student in an accredited program (undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral level)

  • Demonstrate interest in wound care, limb preservation, tissue repair, or related specialties

Eligible disciplines may include (but are not limited to):

  • MD/DO students

  • Nursing students

  • NP/PA students

  • DPM students

  • PhD or research students

  • PT/OT students

  • Allied health students

How to Apply

Complete the online application form by March 16 and upload:

  • Signed letter on letterhead from your program director or professor confirming your status as a current student

  • A brief personal statement (250–500 words) describing:

    • Your interest in wound care

    • What you hope to gain from the experience
