Chronic wounds have a significant impact on patients' lives particularly those that are painful. There is a large stigma surrounding pain and pain management within the healthcare community. In this session, we will discuss painful wounds and the options for their treatments. We will discuss how a team approach to the treatment of wounds and pain create an optimal environment for healing.
