RAPID FIRE: Arthritis: Impact on Healing

A common complication in a patient with lower leg ulceration is osteoarthritis. Arthritic patients experience impaired physical mobility and chronic pain which often interfere with our approach to standard wound care. This session will address the importance of including symptom management in the treatment plan and how to improve outcomes in this patient population.
