Pediatric Wound Prevention and Care

Hospitalized neonates are at a higher risk of both medical adhesive removal injuries as well as hospital acquired device related pressure injuries than their pediatric and adult counterparts, largely due to their very underdeveloped skin. This session will present a standardized evidence-based guideline developed offering a variety of usable options for clinicians caring for this vulnerable population of patients.
