John A. Boswick Award and Lectureship: Collaboration and Integration: Physical Therapy as a Part of the Wound Care Team

Physical Therapy has played a role in wound management for decades beginning with the use of biophysical technologies to treat individuals with burns, pressure injury and dermatological conditions. This presentation discusses the presenter's journey in research and practice that has helped to shape modern day practice of physical therapists as members of the multidisciplinary wound care team. It concludes with an emphasis on collaborative practice.
