Peripheral Vascular Trainee Lab

Pivotal Hands-On Training, Multidisciplinary Mastery

Fellows and Residents: Unleash your potential at the Peripheral Vascular Trainee Lab (PVTL), taking place December 4-6, 2026, in Chicago, Illinois.

The early stage of your career focuses on developing expertise within your specific field, and PVTL provides a hands-on experience where trainees can expand their horizons while recognizing the interconnected nature of healthcare disciplines and the immense value of collaborative, team-based patient care.

Led by Dr. Kumar Madassery and multidisciplinary experts in the fields of interventional radiology, interventional cardiology, and vascular surgery, this pivotal meeting promises an innovative experience, ensuring tomorrow's leaders are well equipped to address the complexities of real-world patient scenarios.

  • This event has been designed with one purpose: to encourage collaborative education and foster camaraderie among professionals in historically isolated specialties, who can instead make a bigger impact on patients when working together. Trainee-focused education is the only real opportunity to develop comprehensive changes in the current PVD landscape that can have a positive impact for the future. We intend to do this with interactive case-based education performed as a group, as well as with the hands-on cadaver/simulator exposure to various devices, anatomy, and algorithms in PVD."
