1. Correlate the increase of ABSSSI with increased morbidity, mortality, length of hospital stay, and overall costs.
2. Explain the mechanisms of action of tetracycline-class antibacterials and describe their spectrum of activity against common pathogens associated with ABSSSI.
3. Examine current trends in antibiotic resistance relevant to ABSSSI, including the prevalence of resistant strains and how tetracyclines compare to other antibiotic classes.
