20 min
Saturday, September 26, 2026
10:25 AM - 10:45 AM
Faculty will examine treatment strategies for patients with resectable lung cancer and discuss whether a neoadjuvant-only strategy is sufficient for disease control or if incorporating both neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapy through a perioperative approach offers greater benefit. Discussion will review emerging clinical trial data, survival outcomes, and toxicity considerations. Participants will explore how these approaches may be optimally applied in contemporary resectable lung cancer care. Examine perioperative therapy strategies for patients with resectable lung cancer, incorporating both neoadjuvant and adjuvant treatment approaches. Faculty will review evidence demonstrating how perioperative systemic therapy may improve recurrence risk and long-term survival outcomes, while addressing sequencing considerations, toxicity management, and coordination of care across the surgical and medical oncology settings.
