Intended Learners

These activities are intended for community and academic clinicians who care for patients with solid tumors, including medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, OB/GYNs, surgeons, NPs/PAs, and other healthcare professionals (e.g., oncology nurses, pharmacists, navigators, physicians-in-training). 

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the appropriate use and recommended methods of biomarker/genomic testing across solid tumors to enhance clinical decision making and personalize patient care.
  • Examine efficacy and safety criteria used to select first-line therapy for solid tumor cancers.
  • Analyze the benefits and limitations of using sequential targeted therapies for disease resistance or progression across various cancer types. 
  • Explore the challenges and potential barriers of how new therapeutic options can be incorporated into the community oncologist’s practice setting.

Requirements for Credit 

To be eligible for documentation of credit for each session attended, learners must participate in the activity and complete the session(s) and overall conference evaluations, as well as post-test(s), if applicable. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 30 days of the conference will receive documentation of credit. Your certificate may not load if you are accessing it from a smartphone or if your browser settings do not allow a new tab/window to open.  

Once a certificate has been claimed, physicians and pharmacists may elect for credits to be submitted on their behalf to their boards via additional fields that will appear within the Claim Certificate page. Credits must be submitted through this process to be reported to the American Board of Surgery and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
