Intended Learners

This educational activity is specifically designed for nurse practitioners, physician associates, nurses, residents and fellows, dermatologists, medical liaisons, thought leader liaisons, and other healthcare professionals involved in the interdisciplinary management of patients with autoimmune and inflammatory skin conditions.

Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Evaluate how dermatologic disease pathophysiology relates to the mechanisms of action of current, emerging, and next-generation topical and systemic therapies, as supported by recent clinical evidence.
  • Assess evidence from recent studies to support treatment selection, monitoring, and patient education related to topical, systemic, procedural, and surgical therapies for dermatologic diseases and their comorbidities.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary care by collaborating with dermatologists and other specialists to optimize management and follow-up for patients with dermatologic diseases with systemic involvement and complex comorbidities.

Requirements for Credit

To be eligible for documentation of credit for each session attended, learners must participate in the activity and complete the session(s) and overall conference evaluations, as well as post-test(s), if applicable. Participants who complete the evaluation online within 30 days of the conference will receive documentation of credit. Your certificate may not load if you are accessing it from a smartphone or if your browser settings do not allow a new tab/window to open.  

Once a certificate has been claimed, physicians and pharmacists may elect for credits to be submitted on their behalf to their boards via additional fields that will appear within the Claim Certificate page. Credits must be submitted through this process to be reported to the American Board of Surgery and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
