Maribel Riesco

DPM, MSPT

Dr Riesco (formerly Henao) is the director, Medical Affairs for Organogenesis and joined the company in 2016 as a medical science liaison. Prior to joining Organogenesis, Dr Henao practiced as a podiatric physician and surgeon with a focus and specialty in wound care and diabetic limb salvage. She received her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Barry University and completed her three-year podiatric surgical residency at South Miami Hospital, located in Miami, Florida. In addition to her DPM degree, Dr Henao also graduated with a Master’s in Physical Therapy from Florida International University and worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Kurt Matheson

Kurt Matheson is vice president of Marketing at Organogenesis with more than 20 years of health care industry experience in advanced wound care and regenerative medicine. Over the years, he has led strategic marketing initiatives that have resulted in the commercialization of innovative technologies, the adoption of evidence-based therapy, and clinician education nationwide, positively impacting patients with chronic and complex wounds.
