Edward Schloss
MD

Dr. Schloss is the Director of Cardiac Rhythm Devices at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati OH. He is a native Cincinnatian, and has spent his whole career at Christ Hospital, formerly serving as the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology for over 20 years. He received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University, and continued medical school at the same institution. After six years at the University of Pittsburgh completing Internal Medicine and Cardiology training, he finished his education with an EP fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Schloss has focused his career on the practice on clinical EP with a concentration on care of device patients. He has been a leading enroller in many clinical trials, and did two first in human cardiac device implants. He was an early adopter of Twitter as a means for communication within the EP community, and helped shape the #EPeeps community and its culture.
