Swati Rao is an Assistant Professor at Tulane University School of Medicine. After earning a degree in biomedical engineering she was an image processing engineer for Siemens in Baltimore, Maryland she pursued clinical medicine at the University of Utah and then completed her post graduate training at Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Chicago respectively. Her current research interests include mechanisms of atrial fibrillation, digital health, cardiac imaging and graduate medical education.
